FAQS

1.  What is a Life Coach?

A life coach is a professionally trained individual who can help you maximize your full potential and reach your desired results. They are like a supportive friend and trusted adviser rolled into one. They’re someone who will help you to identify your goals, hold you accountable and provide encouragement throughout your journey to become a better version of yourself.

5. What can I expect from the coaching process?

My coaching program will usually begin by learning all about you – your desired results as well as your highest priorities and closest relationships. By truly understanding your world, I will design a coaching program that fits your goals. You will find that my coaching program is a very customized experience. You will be heard, understood, and supported, and you’ll be presented with a unique perspective and a series of strategies to improve your life and relationships. You will gain a greater ability to see the “big picture” of your life, find and improve key relationships, take daily actions that increase your joy and happiness. Couples often learn what has been missing in their relationship and how to add it into daily life. Families learn how to appreciate each person’s uniqueness and join together in shared purpose and love.

6. How will I know if you’re the right coach for me?

The single most important factor in a coaching relationship is that we feel some sense of trust with one another. I’m committed to only working with clients I believe I can help.  After the clarity session, I’ll let you know if I don’t think I’m the right person for you. I also will do my best to refer you to someone else who can help you with your goals.

7. When can I expect to start seeing the results?

If you’re ready to start taking action right after the coaching session, you’ll notice immediate change. However, success doesn’t happen overnight. Bigger goals simply take longer time. For some people, one session is enough while others engage in a longer-term coaching program. Coaching over a period of time, combined with consistent action is by far the best way to produce long lasting results and incredible transformations. I keep my coaching program very flexible and don’t lock you into any contracts.

8.  Is virtual coaching really as effective as face-to-face coaching?

Virtual coaching has been used for more than a decade. Many studies have reported that a virtual session really is as effective as an in-person session. In some cases, it’s actually a better model for coaching. It’s time-efficient and it’s very personal. Virtual coaching allows me to coach you wherever you are- nationally or internationally. You can choose your own place that enables you to feel resourceful and creative.

9. How is coaching different from therapy?

Psychotherapy and counselling generally work within a medical framework: identifying and diagnosing dysfunctions and prescribing treatment. Coaching starts with you, now, and how to take practical steps to make progress towards the goals, relationships, and experience you want. Coaching begins with the belief that the solutions that the client wants are available to them right now, and greater well-being and happiness comes from the ability to take smart and creative actions in life. Coaching is not meant to replace psychotherapy – it is a distinct practical approach to supporting clients in the decisions and actions that will support their goals, relationships and fulfillment in life.
